PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES, USES AND ACTIVITIES

  1. No person may use the sauna if they are ill or feeling ill

  2. No jewelry (may cause burns), metal objects, electronics, alcohol, recreational or illicit drug use, smoking, vaping, drugs, food, pets or animals, sharp objects, breakables (glassware or glass equivalents, ceramics), or fire accelerants (propane, butane, gasoline, diesel or flammables) of any kind are to be used in the sauna.

  3. No phones or any electronic devices are to be used in the sauna. High heat and moisture can potentially damage electronic devices, and as such, we cannot assume responsibility for any harm caused to these items if they are brought into the sauna.

  4. Do not climb on the sauna including the exterior ladder at any time.

  5. Do not rest any part of your body on the stove and stove guard- metal surfaces are hot and may cause burns.

  6. Sexual activity of any kind is not permitted in the sauna.

  7. No liquid substances of any kind other than clean water may be used on the sauna rocks. A cleaning fee of up to $250 may be applied at the discretion of Howl at the Moon Sauna Co. for excessive cleaning resulting from use of prohibited liquids on the sauna stove, rocks or sauna interior.

  8. Do not spray extremely cold-water on the front or sides of stove or stove-top rocks as this will cause rapid internal temperature increase and potential steam burns.

  9. Chemical cleaners and/or cleaners with fragrances are not to be used to clean the sauna. If such cleaners are used, Howl at the Moon Sauna Co. reserves the right to apply the cleaning fee.

  10. There is a maximum of 8 people in the sauna at one time.

  11. Drink plenty of fluids before and after using the sauna.

  12. Leave the sauna immediately if you experience any nausea, dizziness, hot flashes, cold chills, headaches or other discomfort.

  13. Firing of sauna stove without prior cleaning of stove grate and without prior emptying of ash pan is prohibited and is dangerous.
